Stilwell man sentenced for federal drug and firearm charges

The United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma announced that a Stilwell man was sentenced to prison for possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and possessing a firearm after a felony conviction.


Justin Dale Killer, 40, was sentenced to 50 months for the drug charge and 50 months for the firearm charge. Both sentences are to be served concurrently.


Charges against Killer arose after a probe by the Stilwell Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.


On Feb. 6, 2023, Killer was in possession of meth and the firearm while traveling in a vehicle in Stilwell. He pleaded guilty to the charges in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma Aug. 7, 2023.


Honorable Judge Ronald A. White presided over the hearing and Killer was remanded to the custody of the U.S. Marshal pending transportation to a U.S. Bureau of Prisons facility to serve a non-paroleable sentence. Assistant United States Attorney Kevin Gross prosecuted the case.
