OSBI: Hulbert town employee under investigation

An official with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation confirmed last week that a town employee of Hulbert is under investigation.

Initial reports on the matter suggested it was the Hulbert Police Department that was being investigated and computers at the department were seized; however, the official clarified to Tahlequah News that wasn't the case.

"We are investigating a city of Hulbert employee, not the police department. This is still an ongoing investigation at this time," said OSBI Public Information Manager Hunter McKee.

No further information including the name of the employee or what the investigation pertains to is available at this time.
