OHP: Woodall teacher, two others killed in 5-vehicle crash in Seminole County

A Woodall Public Schools teacher and two others were killed in a 5-vehicle crash that occurred Saturday, Feb. 1, 10 miles north of Seminole.


According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the crash happened at approximately 10:55 p.m. on Interstate 40.


The driver of a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado, Corey Meek, 41, of Choctaw, was pronounced dead at the scene from injuries sustained in the crash.


Timothy Warmack, 30, of Okay, was the driver of a 2016 Honda Accord. Warmack was pronounced dead at the scene from injuries sustained in the crash. The passenger, Makayla Leach, 29, of Muskogee, was pronounced dead at the scene. According to the Woodall Public School's website, Leach taught third grade.


The 53-year-old driver of a 2019 Chevrolet Trax was airlifted to OU Trauma Center in Oklahoma City and listed in stable condition. The 12-year-old passenger was airlifted to OU Children's Hospital in Oklahoma City and was treated and released.


A 52-year-old man who was driving a 2007 Honda Fit was transported by EMS to Seminole Hospital and listed in stable condition.


The driver and passenger of a 2015 Kia Optima were not injured.


According to the OHP, the cause of the crash and what happened are under investigation.
