OHP: Westville man injured in single-vehicle crash
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said a 21-year-old man apparently fell asleep while driving in Adair County just before 5:15 a.m. Tuesday morning.
According to the OHP report, Easton Edmisten was westbound on Chewey Road, eight miles west of Watts, when he fell asleep, departed the road, and ran through a fence. The 2014 Ford F-150 struck a tree and ditch before overturning.
Edmisten was transported to Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital and admitted in stable condition with head injuries.
According to the OHP, the driver was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
