OHP: Watts man killed in Mayes County crash

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating a two-vehicle crash that left a 49-year-old man dead in Mayes County.

The crash occurred just after midnight on U.S. Highway 69, 1 mile south of West 540 Road near Chouteau. Kevin Blaine was pronounced dead on scene by MESTA. According to reports, another unknown vehicle was involved in the crash.

The OHP said Blaine was not wearing a seat belt and the cause of the crash is under investigation.
