OHP: Tahlequah man injured in motorcycle v. vehicle crash
A 49-year-old man is in stable condition after he reportedly rear-ended a vehicle Sunday evening.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the crash occurred on U.S Highway 62, two miles west of Tahlequah.
Carl Rossignol was operating a 1983 Honda motorcycle when he rear-ended a 2001 Ford F-350 that was driven by 51-year-old Bob Hawkins, of Anderson, MO.
Rossignol was airlifted to Saint John Hospital in Tulsa and admitted in stable condition with head injuries.
Hawkins was not injured.
According to the OHP report, the cause of the crash is under investigation. Rossignol was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
