OHP: Stilwell man killed after single-vehicle crash

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said a man was killed after a single-vehicle crash seven miles north of Stilwell Thursday afternoon.

According to reports, Allan Gann, 37, was northbound on Piney Road in a 2011 Jeep Liberty when he failed to negotiate a curve, departed the road, and struck a culvert. The vehicle overturned one time.

Gann was pronounced dead at Stilwell Memorial Hospital with head and trunk external injuries.

The cause of the crash was listed as unsafe speed on a curve. Gann was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash and was ejected from the vehicle, according to the OHP.
