OHP: Hulbert man injured in ATV crash

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said a 27-year-old man was in stable condition after crashing an ATV Monday evening near Shady Grove.

According to reports, Cody Spencer was eastbound on West 730 Road just before 8 p.m. when he lost control while negotiating a curve. The 2012 Yamaha Grizzly overturned an unknown number of times. Spencer was airlifted to St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa and admitted with head and trunk internal injuries.

The cause of the crash was unsafe speed for the type of roadway (gravel, dirt, etc.) and Spencer's condition was apparently normal.
