OHP: Cookson motorcyclist critically injured in two-vehicle crash

A 65-year-old man is in critical condition after he was struck by a vehicle on State Highway 82 and South 547 Road Thursday afternoon.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said Kenneth Moore, 81, of Welling, was southbound on S.H. 82 when he made a left turn and failed to see the 2009 Harley Davidson that was operated by Michael Difrancesco.

Difrancesco was airlifted to St. John's Hospital in Tulsa and admitted in critical condition with head, trunk internal injuries. Moore was not injured and denied medical treatment.

According to the report, the cause of the crash is under investigation and Difrancesco was not wearing a helmet.
