OHP: Tahlequah teen killed in weekend crash
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said a teenager is dead after a single-vehicle crash on North 569 Road Saturday afternoon.
According to the OHP, Aubrie Lyman was driving a 2006 Dodge Ram northbound on 569 Road when she failed to negotiate a curve and departed the road. The vehicle overturned an undetermined number of times.
The unidentified 15-year-old girl was ejected in the crash. She was transported to Northeastern Health System and pronounced dead due to injuries sustained in the crash.
A 10-year-old boy, 13-year-old girl, 15-year-old girl, 18-year-old woman, and Lyman were not injured.
According to the OHP, the condition of Lyman was "apparently normal" and the cause of the crash was unsafe speed.
