Hulbert PD investigate alleged comments made by school staff member; threat not credible
A staff member with Hulbert Public Schools was placed on administrative leave after alleged comments were made Friday, Sept. 22.
According to a statement on the school's website, Hulbert police is investigating the situation and doesn’t believe the threat was “credible.”
“However, as is customary, the staff member has been placed on administrative leave and we fully cooperating with law enforcement to investigate this matter,” Superintendent Jolyn Choate said in the statement.
Due to the issue being a personnel matter, Choate said the district cannot comment any further at this time.
“It’s important to remember that everyone has a role to play in making our campuses a safe place for students to learn and thrive,” Choate said.
