Former Stilwell Elementary teacher pleads guilty to aggravated sexual abuse of a child

A former elementary teacher pleaded guilty to aggravated sexual abuse charges in federal court Thursday, April 11.

According to federal court documents, Lawrence Fourkiller admitted that he made a 7-year-old child engage in a sexual act when he made the child perform oral sex on him.

Fourkiller was charged with federal child sexual abuse with a child under the age of 12 by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma.

He was charged in the Eastern District of Oklahoma and after taken into custody by Dallas Fort Worth Airport Police on June 28, 2023. A federal indictment stated Fourkiller engaged in sexual contact with several students.

He was charged with three counts of aggravated sexual abuse of a child and two counts of abusive sexual contact. The court agreed that the four additional charges against Fourkiller be dismissed as part of his plea agreement.

According to court documents, the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma and Fourkiller agree that a sentence of 35 years in prison is appropriate. His jury trial that was slated for April 29 has been stricken.
