Drowning victim recovered from Lake Tenkiller
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol's dive team recovered the body of a Muskogee man on Sunday, July 16.
According to the OHP, Marine Enforcement troopers and members of the dive team recovered the body of 55-year-old Ray L. Hutcherson in approximately 14-feet of water.
On July 15, Hutcherson reportedly walked to the southeast corner of the Cookson Bend Marina, by the patio area, and jumped into the lake. The victim went under and did not resurface.
According to the OHP report, the victim was not wearing a personal flotation device.
