Cherokee County Republican Party to meet this evening
The Cherokee County Republican Party will meet on Monday, Jan. 13, at the Armory Municipal Center in Tahlequah.
Tonight's speaker will feature Stan Stevens, who sits on the Executive Committee for the Republican Party of Tulsa County. He also serves as Policy Advisor to Sen. Dana Prieto.
Stan began his career in Bartlesville, OK, serving over two decades as the Treasurer of Washington County. During his tenure, he served two terms as the Washington County Republican Party Chairman, Treasurer for the Oklahoma Republican Party, served in numerous leadership positions, and worked in the legislature as a liaison for county government. Stan was the first person to be elected to serve as President for two consecutive terms for the County Officers and Deputies Association of Oklahoma in state history.
Monday's meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. at the Armory Municipal Center.
