Cherokee County Republican Party to meet this Monday

The Cherokee County Republican Party is meeting Monday, Feb. 10, at 6 p.m. at the Tahlequah Armory Municipal Center.

Tahlequah's first responders are doing a program for the Cherokee County Republican Party wherein they will inform CCRP members of all the new and continuing responses to Tahlequah emergencies. The civil engineers and planners will tell the club about designing Tahlequah’s Transportation Safety Action Plan.

The event is a great opportunity for CCRP to learn about the community and local heroes.

After the program, CCRP Chair Carol Sneed-Jalbert will announce details about their upcoming Republican Precinct and County Conventions. CCRP is an extension of the Oklahoma Republican Party-the OKGOP.

CCRP meets regularly on the second Monday of the month. The next regular meeting will be on Monday, March 10, 2025, at the Armory at 6:30 p.m. Call Sneed-Jalbert at 417-847-7427 with any questions.

Another Republican opportunity is to attend the Cherokee County Republican Women meeting on the third Tuesday of every month at the Armory.

The next CCRW meeting will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 18th, 2024. This month, CCRW will have their regular meeting from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. to allow their members to go to the Tahlequah Area Chamber of Commerce's “State of the Community” at the Chota Center, Tuesday, Feb. 18, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Tickets are $35 and those interested in attending must register in advance. Call TACC at 918-456-3742 for tickets.
